The Guardian Foundation helps to find appropriate schools for children to gain their education and ensure all school-related expenses are paid for, including uniforms, supplies, and tuition.
Additionally, we attend parent-teacher meetings for orphaned children. The Guardian Foundation visits and works closely with local orphanages, rescue centers, and schools, and monitors the progress and needs of the children.
Ilmarba Rescue Center is dedicated to eradicating female genital mutiliation, FGM, and early marriages, as well as raising global awareness about gender-based violence. It is contributing to the global campaign to stop female genital mutiliation (FGM) by working directly with practitioners of FGM and members of the communities, as well as by providing educational sponsorships for young girls. Ilmarba Rescue Center’s holistic approach is successfully eliminating the practice of FGM in villages of Southern Kenya. Ilmarba Rescue Center believes that every woman has the right to life without violence and that FGM is a violation of human rights.
